i guess it depends on your locality, but thats not the best value in my book. especially once you consider getting rid of whats left? its sometimes annoying. maybe the diff youll be able to use too though.. sometimes theyre t series, and then sometimes 4.1 ratio too. if thats the case your in luck, and its a good deal.

having said that. yeah the struts can be used. you will need to use the corona steering arms, or ae86 ones.

also, you might have a slight issue with the back of the disc contacting the end of the control arm. i havent seen this first hand. no such problem in my 86. but there is a slight geometry difference between the 2 cars that could account for that.

over all a good strut though. its what i use.

Yes they work in a KE70. Assuming you are going to convert to coilovers, you'll need to use the normal KE70 strut top to get it to bolt in(or camber plates of ones choice). If not coilovers, I believe you would have to remove the Corona spring seat and reweld on the KE one as the two have different OD diameter springs. As Slydar mentioned, you'll need to corona steering arms or AE86 ones aswell. If you are getting the whole car, using the Corona LCAs is a good idea while you have all the suspension out.

I use them in my car and havn't had any problems. Just make sure you book in for a wheel alignment after they go in if you use the LCAs too.

Side note: Are you using the Corona brakes aswell? They came in either single or 2spot callipers, so if the car is only single, might just be better to look out for another pair of complete struts with the 2spots.

"Corona wagons are like gold dust" a used car man told me years ago. And they are great to put your tools in the back of.

If you are wrecking, the rear shocks are a perfect fit. The diff is a borg warner. Brakes are sliding Girlocks. Master cyl is a PBR. Motor is Holden etc... Wheels are 14" steelies that fit!

whats the average price to convert the brakes to hilux/peugeot brakes?

The cost of HiLux brakes, from LN106 or similar.
Plus the cost of Peugeot disks.

You use the XT130 strut, and hubs, and steering arms.

Machine mounting face of disk by 1mm. Drill mounting holes in disk 1mm bigger. Machine diameter of disk down to 254mm.

Assemble.

so xt130 brakes/disc's wont be able to be used in the conversion?

You can use the XT130 brakes for sure. They work as well as any. Will fit 14" wheels, not 13".

If you want to upgrade from XT130 brakes, you will be looking at a vented style disk. And the Peugeot disk is 20mm thick.

you can use them but you can go the hilux/pug for little money and have really good brakes

solid disk brakes are fail unless they are rear brakes

the xt brakes will be an improvement over standard though. you can get bigger ones later if you want.
