Car - ke70

motor - away from car atm

use - project

problem - rust around the boot and where the latch was.

occurs/started when - water fucked it

im curious if any one has heard if you can use bonnet pins to hold down the boot lid. my rust is rather bad and im welding some new panels in but instead of trying to make little bits and fix it to reconnect it could i use the bonnet pins. any info would be much appreciated.

if not ill do a tech build on it.

cheers Wally332

ay man

i dont see why you cant use the pins
all you need to do is make sum L shape plates up and put one on each side but then if you do that how will you lock it

why the L shape so that you can weld them to the car body and then put pins in the top

or drill the seal out and drop the pins in there
