Hey guys,

I need a long accelerator cable for my f20 conversion.
The throttle body is on the passenger side so any ideas on cables which
will have the same Toyota firewall fitting?

Cheers

ke70 is pretty long, and fits up to the standard firewall holes.

other than that i think you would need to go a custom one (they aren't particularly expensive)

saw this guy once who had a double looped (pretty long) accelerator cable in the bay of a 4age 86. i asked him what was it off, he said a ford laser kh..

just take your existing cable to a place like cable mate and they will make up whatever length you want with your fittings

You're putting a F20 into an sprinter...Just spend a tiny bit more on a custom one! Would look much tidier to have one the exact length, rather than using one from another car that is too long etc. It's what I would do anyway

1 - Go to pick-a-part and walk around the 80s-90s Toyotas
2 - Find a cable that seems about the right length
3 - ???
4 - Profit

General Automotive Cables i think. Its in Rose st Liverpool, across the road from RTA, just down from Subaru

measure up what you need before you go, won't cost more than a few bucks

Custom seems like the go, I will have a suss at pick and paylots to see what I can find but nice and new seems the better option

benny, ive done it twice now. cost me no more than $50 for each one (i actually cant remember exact price, but it was cheap as...)

first one was at a motorbike spare parts shop, 2nd was a motor bike dealer/service centre locally to me.
