hi all,
I'm currently doing a BT 20v build, i am at the stage where i am converting it all to RWD, i.e dizzy(going coilpack) and water, now i know there are allot of kits out there that you can buy to convert all of this to RWD but what i want to know is who has what and who is happy with theirs?
my dad once told me "do a job right and do it once"
i have looked thorugh the xE7x and the ae86 owners section but have not really found what im looking for.
any help would be great.
thanks

get the RS CHITA water kit and be done with it.
nothing is better in regards to complete packages, quality of parts supplied, and cleanliness and ease of install.
in regards to ignition and loom etc, speak to anthony from kaizen garage. his shit is top notch (have seen it in person on two different setups locally) and his loom is to die for.
If going individual coil packs, speak to Sam-Q and go from there. he makes a nice mounting plate and also a nice rear water backing plate which has come up many times in the discussion of rwd 20v setups.
hope that helps.
cheers

If it were me i'd probably go Sam-Q's stuff. Heaps cheaper.
You don't have to spend double the price just to get a very similar chunk(s) of machined alloy. But if brand really matters, the RS-chita kit really is the "best". I have a GARAGE ANNEX kit that's amazing, but i don't think it's very cheap.

thanks guys, stixy do yourself a favor and click on the link in my signiture, even if you don't buy any parts I have some articles on there that will help you.
I should be able to sell 1NZ coilpacks within a week, this should mean I have just about everything you need bar the trumpets.
Overall I think I have the best kit out of anyone, although I do really like the top outlet pipe of the RS Chita kit.
Here are 3 pics to see some of what I offer:

I also offer a full backup in terms of help needed to fit them and any issues that might come up. I am yet to have an unhappy customer.
Otherwise I think Vision-R sells the RS Chita kit.

i have a rs-chita kit solely due to the quality/neatness of the top outlet pipe...if i wasnt so pedantic id certainly go with the gear that samq is selling...

id recommend anthony's setup (KZG). he's done dozens of them (mine included) and it all looks and runs factory. everything from the external thermostat housing to the CAS cover (seen in samq's first image) is good

depends on which one your getting, he used to do this C&C rear bypass which was great but the last person I hear of who had a conversion done by him had an OEM thermostat that was just chopped, hollowed out and welded shorter- it ended up leaking. The rewelded bullhorn pipe looks ok to me however I am still not convinced that it doesn't cause air locks on initial filling, although that isn't a big issue. I am obviously a fan of the dizzy covers and hence why I sell them.

If you going with Adaptronic make sure he puts the voltage divider other wise it probably won't rev past 7000k rpm. http://adaptronic.com.au/forum/index.php?topic=235.0

this has to show how I am not biased: I still love this outlet and it's a pity I can't justify getting something like this made.
