Hey everyone

lowered my car a little bit more in the rear yesterday and now my tailshaft to diff flange uni scrapes on the underside of the tunnel.
what does everyone do when they lower their 8-6?

do you just bash that shit out or what?

rails are about 40-50mm off the ground...

Cheers,
Tom

not many go that low..... but yeah i guess without adjusting the snout of the diff, bashing would be the best option...

weird that some people get that issue but i never did, why not just get 1pc tailshaft made up a little shorter? ? shouldnt cost too much

drop down your tail shaft if it helps??? and get your self a good hitty stick thing, so you dont have to get the hammer up in there(old C/V shafts are good or 1/2 extensions)

that doesnt help at all..... its the flange on the diff hitting..

Mate, if you get some adjustable rear trailing arms you can angle the front of th diff down, even if you only get upper trailing arms, that will fix it.

Thats what I did, but I let it slap for a couple of weeks first.

Bash it or cut it out? We just let it smash on ours.
