hey mate i am pretty sure the s13 silvia rear discs and calipers can be bolted on to the rear... i think anyway they are the same stud patern but you may have to modify the handbrake

R31 works, but if you want to go the toyota route, speak to sam q on toymods he did a nifty little conversion

I have done a conversion on mine but it cant be copied so easy. I used a Corona disk and a ae-82 corolla caliper, nothing fits on easy onto a T-18 as far as I know. An R31 skyline or sylvia setup might be a good start, watch out for clearences off the lower control arm though with the handbrake. BTW can you use a welder?

I asked if you own a welder because nothing fits on. I still recomend trying some s13 gear, I can't promise it will fit but it looks likely. Also theres heaps more room available if you run traction brackets, or if you a bit loopy like me you just extend the brackets on the diff housing.

it seems like more trouble than it's worth? is there a better solution??

for an IRS setup? no, theres no realistic solution. For some rear disk brakes it likes like S13 silvia brakes are the best bet.
