Im planning on using TA22 headlights..

The little research i have done i have found that the brackets that need to be made up are fair hard and that your better off importing the jap or NZ ones.

Im gonna give it ago with the TA22 lights. Once i have done it in a few weeks ill do a little write up on how to do it on the early model ke70

Using TA22 lights isn't really hard. Couple of brackets need to be made up of some non-flexy steel. I couldn't be bothered so I donated them to driftae86's ae71.

Yes but to keep the headlight aiming adjustments would be a pain in the ass

Try and maybe even find sigma lights? I'm sure they'd be cheaper than TA22 http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif That's waht I'd do anyway, I'd at least try!
What about quad square lights? Like from a Nissan 720 or something? That could almost look cool!

That is a Carina, apart from being made by Toyota its pretty much a totally differnt car to a ke70.

ta22 ones are easy to fit.

mine were attached to the backing plate still so the adjusting screws were all there.

they just need some kind of surround to make them look tidy....i didnt bother http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif

ps: that carina is hot http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/biggrin.gif

You can buy normal clip in bulbs and globe things for ta22 lights.
