most huchis hav 4ag engines, which is an upgrade from the stadard 4ac engine. suspension is no big deal really it is pretty easy to get as long as you know what stuff you want. you can either get it off these forums in the "parts for sale" section or you can get it off ajps (www.ajps.com.au) also you really need to know how much you want to spend. around 3000 will get you like a stock levin huchi with a 4ac, or 10000 could get you like a trueno with suspension work and a 4age. truenos in australia are a lot more expensive than levins. o well thats just what i have picked up over time. im not really sure if its correct but yeah. thats what i know.

cheers

Sit and watch the cars that come up for sale.
If you want good performance and to use it on track then I'd say $10K is a good budget.
People freak out when they hear you are spending around $10K on a 1984-1986 model car BUT try to find a modern day car that is rear wheel drive, performs as well and has the same fun factor as a sprinter.

Get a car that has as much done to it as possible - save you tons of money in the long run and you if its already on the road then you can start enjoying the money you spent from day one.
People rarely get back what they put into their cars so getting one with the work done is generally a bargain.

Good luck with it.

hey don't bag the r31's...i don't know if there as 'fun' as 86's but there a cheap good relable hacker, find a straightish manuel one...$2-$3k...most s13 shit bolts in, hack in some control arms, get some 16's for the front and some decent 15's for rear and you have I AM GAY monstah11!1
