Maple flavour FTW

I base this on the last time I had Maccas hotcakes, seeing as I enjoyed them, and I don't like Golden syrup on Pancakes, therefore it must have been something sticky and vaguely Maple in flavour that I was pouring over them.

Maple flavoured syrup and real maple syrup taste almost the same to me.
Its just a techincal thing like sparkling white whine and champaine or American beer and vomit flavoured water. Techincally theyre different things but they taste pretty much the same.
