what size are gze crank big end journals

Only the early GE cranks had 40mm bigends. Later GE and I think all GZE (not 100% on AW11 GZE) had 42mm bigends.

SO what do I do about putting gze pistons in my na ge because the gudgeons are 18mm vs 20mm???
any one know what ge engines came with 42mm cranks? jdm ae864age's?

ae86 4age's did not come with 42mm cranks. The ones you seek are the black and red top(big port head on 7 rib block, late ae82/early ae92) or smallport motors(late ae92).

The other option which I have heard of is getting the conrods machined to take the bigger gudgeon.
