yeah open, haven't had the heart to lock my daily. keeping an eye out for a viscous - but the mx has a really balanced drivetrain, it'll sit on the spot spinning both wheels forever in the dry. i can see these things becoming a lot more popular in the povo modified scene as they become cheaper.

hehe got a new engine for the 86 (ze soon to be turbo) but yeah, mx5 one of the 'drivers cars' i own (just happen to have both) from an era of light weight no bullshit rwd. while there's extra rigidity with the hard top (mines white i'm afraid) it's bloody worth surviving the winter to be able to put the roof down now we have some good weather. only time i get a tan. thankfully it has air con too.
