3SGE race engine

Is converted to rear wheel drive. Comes with custom made alluminium sump and cross member to suit AE86- KE70 ETC in rear wheel drive configuration.

rear water ports sealed and front water outlet plumbed. water pumps have ben modified to suit. distributor outlet sealed

50mm quad throttle bodies on custom inlet manifold ( cost $2000 alone) and custom 4 into 1 extractors 50mm primaries 32" long.

Comes with, ignition coils, starter, and heavy duty 4 puck clutch. also included is a box of spares including, new engine bearings, pistons, con rods, water pumps altenator etc.

There is a cam angle sensor in the head and will need a sensor on the crank to suit whatever ecu you want to run. ( i can offer help with required sensors)

Engine has been freshly rebuilt on a High compression bottom end. valve cover and sump have been removed to take photos, new oil pump and timing belt will be fitted before sale.

Head has been ported and flow bench tested. new valves, springs, cams etc.

The cams are Duration 254 @ 50
With a lift of .430

This engine has been built to develop around 230 HP depending on tune. and will deliver this up to 8500rpm

Over $5000 has been spent developing the engine, and it has not been run since the complete rebuild. so it is fresh and ready to go.

Was running in an improved production race car

Not sure what to put on as a price as its worth quite a bit but i want a quick sale to fund other parts for the race car
so $2500 it is.

can be inspected in Ballina NSW

or contact me on 0414 482320

I can strap to a pallet and freight Australia wide. but will not freight without added insurance cover.

**Will freight for free if buy it now is used** East coast of Australia only

Thanks

hey what would you need to hook this upto a t50? just a new bellhousing??? would it be best to run like a microtech lt8 on this or......

this would kill a t50!! you would need a custom bell housing. pretty much have to run a w series box.

and an adaptronic would probably be a better ecu to go with

yea thats what i thought....w58 or something like that, microtechs the most common ecu tuned down my way

I have seen these run on a T50, but would be better suited to a w series box so it can bolt straight up.
most programable ecu's will work perfect. I have a Motec M4, but adaptronic, microtec etc etc will deliver the goods.

Is this motor from your car mate?
Sounds like a good package, i would be interested but i am making same sort of power figures from the 20v. So prob not the step up i need.

Good luck with the sale

Its the spare that i had for the car. these engines are really strong in the mid range unlike the 20v, I went through all this when i was deciding on an upgrade whether to go all out 16v v's 20v v's 3sg and the 3sg is the way to go, even with the very limited testing the car is already very quick.

Hey nice looking engine

This obviously has been built to go where a 4AC/4AG once sat so you have worked all this out, question about the gearbox and flywheel.

What is the box to suit this engine in RWD form and will it require a custom bell housing and clutch forksetup or is there a straight bolt in option?

A w series box ( supra) or the altezza 6 speed will bolt straight up no worries, if you want to use a T50 etc you will need an adaptor.

Yes it is cheap, but i need to move it fast. I'd rather cut my losses and move on with new parts than hang on to it to go for top dollar.
The cams are a custom ground set, i will measure them on monday.

Thanks
