Might be a stupid question and will definitely show my complete lack of knowledge with regards to clutches in general....but if i have a fwd smallport 4age and i want to put it in an ae71, can i use the fwd clutch plate in the rwd setup? Just to save me buying a new clutch plate :P

I also have a lack of knowledge in clutches. Can you put a clutch plate out of an ae92 into the gearbox thats on a 4k?

i phoned global for fozz's car and the outcome was that the plate from ae92/93 was of 212 diameter, whereas 4a/t50 clutches are 200? i presume this is the same case here

This would be true, but if you ran a 212 flywheel then you could use the AE92/93 plate under the T50.
