Yeah I dont know.

I think ill do ADGP simply because its something new and has the potential to be good (but theres a good chance it will turn to shit for many reasons that I would bring up if this was NS, but it isnt). Been to every event in Tassie for the last two years except one, its a top series and ill be straight back down there for the last round, but I think I might as well give this a shot, especially considering theres a chance (maybe a good chance) that ADGP might not be around again next year.

That being said, I still didnt send my entry last night. Im doing it tomorrow... maybe.

Well the new car is still being a gaylord so I bit the bullet and decided to drive old faither ful for a couple of reasons:

1: Im used to it.
2: The track layout doesnt appear to require big power.
3: Ill be more likely to touch the wall lightly like a 4 year old.
4: I wont care as much when I slap the thing around the back of someone else's more expensive and pretty car.

The R31 was an absolute bugger of a car to get a handle on but it had some wicked torque.

I got the hang of it by the afternoon, but only qualified 35th :(
Some strippers had come past during the day handing out free passes, so we figured that'd be a good place to go and drown our sorrows...
Got a call at 10 on Sunday saying there was some dropouts and I can race if I want, so we did the boogie to the track, almost overtaking a cop car at 130 :s
Jumped in the car and lost my guts out the window (wasn't hungover, just fel crook as hell) put the helmet on and came up against an S14 that just replaced a gearbox.
Only made it through by the skin of my teeth when he spun on the chase lap.
Then came up against Deks and it was a really close battle, even had a rerun, but i couldn't get enough speed out of the 31 to pull it off :(
still a wicked weekend :)

Just spoke to the workshop today, they reckon they'll start hooking into the wiring tomorrow.
They want to run an Autronic SM4 and lock the exhaust cam, but I'm thinking an Adaptronic so we can run all 4 cams :)

Yeah. I qualifyed 14th on the saturday but got knocked out in the top 32 on sunday, I was hoping for a re-run but apparantly no deal.

Bent the car up pretty good too. Ill slap some pics and a bit more of a write up tonight. Got to do a wreck em write up as well, so stay tuned.

EG. Nigel Petries first top 32 run, he got beaten fair and square but they called a re-run. Not that he doesn't deserve to go further, but if your the underdog and you produce a better pair of runs they (the judges) should happily put you through!! Or else it will just be the same thing every round lol

I also thought that if two judges said re-run but another judge picked a winner then the win should have went to them instead of a re-run. But that's why they are having a mini series I guess, hopefully people give feedback about the negatives without being rude/c'heads and maybe we will see improvements by next years series.
