AE86 price??

Hey guys new to this forum and my question is I am going to buy a AE86 of my neighbour with an ADM AE86 sprinter he has owned since brand new been garaged it's whole life and it is as mint as they come completely granny spec 100% original

It is the povo pack with 4ac but has no rust no paint fade immaculate interior even with the little venetians in the coupe windows no LSD and stock alloys neither of us are sure what it is worth and I don't wanna rip him off he said $3000-$4000

So I'm hoping some one can help us out with our dilemma

Ok thanks guys for the help really apretiate it cuz were looking along the lines of me buying a later model car to swap with him cuz he's a pensioner and can't afford a newer car so now I have a rough idea of what to spend

Lets put it this way , if it is in that good of condition then if it was listed on ebay , I think you would see 5K plus without much trouble . Sounds almost to good to modify. An unmodified KE15 Sprinter was sold for 10K not that long ago.

I have been looking around i love the look of the 86 and seen a few on carsales and most are asking average of $10,000 but all are mostly modified to some extent

But had a mate buy one from here with a 20v but was in fairly ordinary condition for 6k wich made me wonder what the actual price and asking prices are and was nearly going to buy it off him but was very unsure because I know it's been raped

I knew this would be the best place to ask and yeah the condition of my neighbors 86 I'm not even sure I would modify it

You can't really beat buying a car from the original owner, they will know very little detail about it! Fair price if it's in such good condition.

There was one that came into work that was the original owner and he said that he had turned down offers of 7k, it was mint though but I couldn't pay that much for a standard car.

I know the one, very low kays like 20,000 I think and only seviced @ sci fleet . The owner of buckland auto was saying its his neighbor and he wanted like 10-12k for it lol

Yeah, only comes into work hardly ever but stuff all k's. Sounds about right.

just buy it and do whatever mods you want to it, just keep all the old shit so you can revert it back to stock if you feel the need to one day. just dont write it off.
my car had 63,000ks on the clock when i bought it, end of the day its there to be used and i've had a 4ac ae86 before and now have a 4age one, unless i had two and could store the immaculate 4ac one i know i could not resist fitting a 4age to the stock one.

I thort about that but I really wouldn't mind driving a stocko but that may change when I actually have it tho but would only be tasteful mods

And I won't have to worry about me writing it off got 3month left on my p's never even had a parking ticket lol

If I keep this other T18 I plan to keep it standard, drives so nice and with all new bushes actually handles well.
