Is that one of Steve's old engines Glenn? I've heard a lot of stories about that motor.

Has the head been welded and reangled in the ports?

Unless there are better quality pics or more information I don't quite understand the reason for the thread.

That's better.

Can you see if the head has been welded up?

Definately a different / not common combination. I'm keen to hear more a bout this motor and see how it runs if it is still healthy.

Looks like it's just a "different to norm" manifold in the pics...I did wedge the manifold on my 20v for ever slightly more ramp/clearance

this motor is only 1920 cc and made 145kws at 7800 rpm i will be putting this up for sale in the near future and comes with what you see ,plus the extractors and air box assembly it has forged pistons and argo rods etc plus some hot cams

sam the port angle to the ports have been changed so i would say that the std ports has been welded up ,the alloy section is bolted up to the block .and it looks like either 45mm or 48mm quads

Are they jenvey throttles?

Celica RA45

no just butterfly throttles

Sam-Q

Jenvey make butterfly throttles, when I first saw the pics I thought they where from them as well.

the shafts are brass so it could be any aussie company from speed tech to a mob in sydney that made these as well .i always thought jenvey used steel shafts
