Its only been near a year since my other thread on the last forum was wiped, and I honestly have not had much of a chance to post a new thread (as some of you may have noticed). So here goes.

Hi, I'm Driftspec. Also known as Keating (which is what basically everyone calls me). And here is my car:





I bought it off a good friend of mine (who sold his replacement AE86 earlier this year). Essentially pure ADM, apart from lowered/hardened suspension (courtesy of AJPS) and the paint job, which was done by the owner previous. Including the big Kenwood sticker

It is my daily drive. There, I said it. I use it to go to and from home, the station, work, etc. As a daily, it doesn't get much better. It has been on the track a few times in its past, but was pretty limited in terms of power. that was, until the engine blew up earlier this year. Forcing me to get some twin cam go in it:

JDM 4A-GE Bigport. Very nice, clean engine, provided by Just JDM Imports Craig (free plug ). Without him, the car would probably still not be running. Also props to Anthony from Kaizen Garage who helped Craig in getting it working.

I don't have any really new pics of the car, as its in a pretty piggy state at the moment. I had a lot of rust cut out and repaired earlier in the year, which was great. Then the car was broken into a few months later, with some of the internal panelling and the car door busted. So it hasn't been washed, and it isn't exactly pretty. Need to scrape the money together to get it (and a few other things sorted). So no new pics until it is all pretty again

Thats really all there is to it. Brings a smile to my face every time I drive it. And it seems to blow away a lot of 'better' cars around the joint too, which is always good

Yerp! I knew the swap would be out of necessity rather than want, and when the 4AC blew a head gasket and chewed itself up on a long drive, that was about it. Was s shit of a weekend trying to get it back home, but thats another story

Yeah Brendan, give us a yell sometime if you up and about. Maybe not next weekend (lol) but any other time. Bring the car for a run

I do have sow Kenwood gear in the car, but not all of it is. The stickers in a bad way so I'm not sure how long it will be on there.

Got picked up for low ground clearance and unsecured pod filter just now. Bugger, but I guess I'm glad that was all. So I need to fix that hey...
