Manifolds are coming off the Donor RT132, which should arrive next week so there's no fucking around regarding exhaust fitment due to differences in the manifold between RA40 and RT132

I actually don't mind 18R's. They sound pretty cool, will outlive most pets whilst getting thrashed all day every day and 97hp stock isn't too bad for a non crossflow 2L from the 70's with it's nuts in the emissions-control vice
yea nah they are good reliable engines, will handle a good thrashing all day everyday... 18Rg is where its at for R motors though...

Funny you should say that, once the 18R vacates the engine stand in a few weeks, my 18R-G that's been waiting patiently in the shed will be getting mounted up and start receiving some love!
