Engine bay is looking a million bucks, battery tray was FUCKED, now look at it!



Last guard in bare metal



Wheelarches have been painted with underbody paint, as has trans tunnel



A-pillar repair looks great, the minor imperfection will be covered by a trim.



And the massive dent in the roof is gone.





SO, here's the big news. ETA until I have the shell - 2 weeks. 4 weeks until I have the panels.

SHIT IS ABOUT TO GET REALLY REAL PEOPLE.

Also my new motor hasn't turned up yet, pics and info when it does.

Hi Kids.

New engine still isn't in a presentable state so that'll stay under wraps until i'm ready.

Sold my old 18R as a complete package which i'm currently installing in another XT130 for the customer to bankroll the following:

I CAN'T FUCKING WAIT UNTIL THE SHELL IS DONE TOO.

Colour is Subaru satin pearl white, as seen on the current generation WRX STi and possibly some others. All the panels are done but they do need a buff to get some minor imperfections out. That will happen after it's fully assembled.

The bonnet, bootlid, front guards, scuttle and beaver panel (front valance?) have all migrated safely to their new home, and they look fucking glorious. No pictures for now as they're all wrapped up in sheets for their own protection and photos aren't really doing the colour justice, maybe one sunny day i'll pull them out, dust them down and take some happy snaps.

Engine is still under wraps, however my gasket kit is on the way and i've started on my custom wiring harness, so it shouldn't be long until i've got some pics of my predictable choice of powerplant.

Also for those interested, i got the warm 18R that was originally destined for the engine bay of this car running in its new home yesterday, and it's a fucking pearler. Kinda sad that it went to a new home, but it's making way for bigger and better things
