Hurry up slacker
Pretty much sums up the past few months -
You can have any brew you want... as long as it's a Datsun / Corolla / What is that?

Haha hence the cheeky smile
Looking forward to seeing/hearing it with the 18RG in it though. Should get some nice lumpy cams that makes it sound hateful
Well, it moved today. Hasn't done that in about a month. Under its' own power, too. Bonus.
It's now found a new home in the driveway instead of under the tree out front of my house getting shat on.
Engine is coming out when i get back from tour. Progress will be made.

Sort of big-ish update.

Head goes to machine shop next week.

laugh out loud
I quote myself from 4 months ago to illustrate how little progress this car has had.
For a while this project stalled. Some would say it 'shot a rod'.
After having lots of trouble getting my head around all the fucking stupid shit the peanuts at HMGem did to my motor when they 'rebuilt' it, i've finally go the bottom end PROPERLY together. This took about 20 strip, measure and refits to get everything right. FUCK MY LIFE.
Head on next week.

should of let me take it to darrens.....would have been fixed right the first time......
see what i did there
Got saturday off work, so, I decided to go to work, to work on my 18R.
Head on, RA28 Cam in (higher lift / longer duration, YO!) timed up, rockers on, clearances set.
Currently in the process of cleaning off the horrific job I did of painting the cam cover almost a year ago.
Few more things have to be painted (sump, gearbox stays) then the long motor is complete.
Then just rebuild the 32/36 and the distributor, and she's done!
Also, I need an RT132. Who has one for me?
