"Bare metal respray" was what was claimed, I'm pretty sure I saw some pics where it was just rubbed back a bit and primered.

Keep your eyes and ears open, you'd be surprised what you can get cheap on ebay and stuff.

The rims I paid $150 for without really knowing what they were. Turned out to be WEDS 15x6 lightweight Jap rims

I restored them myself took about a week with a lot of skin off the fingers and cramps
