hey guys i just bought a ducktail and am keen on learning how to fibreglass and paint. I would like to fibre glass mold the ducktail into my 86 hatch to make it one piece, exactly like on this page:
if anybody in brisbane could help me with it, i dont mind paying but really just want to learn and have someone teach me and do it with me, dont mind throwing bbq and having beers at mine while doing it neither so please guys anybody in brisbane who can do this, it would be very appreciated if you help and teach me

yeah man i would glue it on with some shit, (urethane ro panelbond or something of the like) and then just sand teh edges and bog it smooth, if u look at my build thread, we just glued mine on and then used sealer to smooth the edges out looks quite neat.

pop rivert the wing on...
grind the rivert flush with the wing...
apply fibre glass or what ever bog your using...
wait till dry..
sand back smooth...
paint...
its striaght forward....making it look nice comes with experience thats the only thing with body work

mmm just trying to find somebody with experience who is willing to help, because i have never done this so dont want to mess it up.
use a bonding agent with fewer rivets, it allows for more natural movementand lacement of the panel
ive never used fb much, but im about to crack on with a bonnet mod, come and watch/help/get in the way if your keen while i figure it out
