ideling issues

hey guys, had a drift day at qr today, car ran fine all day, but as i started it up to go home it didnt want to idle, when the engine is cold it hunts from about 500 rpm to 1500 rpm, and as soon as its warmed up it dies, ive checked all the hoses and lines etc i cant seem to find any leaks, it seems to drive ok, no power loss etc, but as soon as i try to let it idle it dies, just wondering if any one has had the same thing happen? i am aware its almost immposible to diagnose some one elses problems by just reading a post lol but im just after a point in the rite direction

Do a diagnostic test, Black coupe also check your water level (how long has it been hunting) and make sure your map sensor hose has not fallen off.

cheers trev084, tried to do the diagnostic test but i have a aftermarket ecu and it dosent want to play ball, cheked the map sensor seems to be fine, and water is ok (not to low) cheers for the feed back mate. if all else fails i may just take it to the local garage.
