yeah, working on that bit
also marv, you were asking how much lower i could go with my current coilover setup i think. that second to last pic shows how much adjustment for going lower there is. i think there's about 3" there, so with some 185/60r14 and dropping it as far as it goes, i could probably have the crossmember scraping

Nice, these are drum rear end yeah?
Plans sound good!
RT142 Estate.
AJPS.
thanks guys
yeah, drum rears standard, but i mashed up one of the swingarms slightly with a meeting with the gutter in the wet. found an MX73 at the local wrecker, so i salvaged the swingarms and brakes from that. turns out they're pretty much a bolt in swap.
anywho, once i get some wheels (maybe across the christmas hollies if i can find some cash) i'll lower the front end and cut a coil out of the back maybe and get some pics with fitment and camber
Looks clean man!
Some nice wheels will set it off though!

SINCE 2008
Disk rear end is like the best mod ever, it runs an internal drum for the handbrake, with new drums and shoes locks up so awesome for drifting and stops better with the disks
Will look awsome with more lows and phat wheels
bit of an update
got bored couple of weeks ago and decided to lower the front a bit and take out the rear springs. pics do the talking.
then, from yesterday:
just been under the car in the humidity and heat putting the stock shocks back in (from xE7x Excel-G), cause they keep hitting full droop when i go over bumps/speedbumps as they're not quite long enough. i'm thinking i might see if i can get some threaded spacers made up to thread onto the top of the shaft and give me an extra ~2" of overall length.
also pulled off the rear mudflaps finally and found a nice hole in the bottom of the drivers side guard. there's rust bubbles on the passenger side as well, but they haven't rusted through yet thankfully. will look into getting some rust converter on those areas in the near future.
...shortly afterwards i realised i hadn't tightened the wheel nuts up on the rear and almost lost a wheel driving down the street.
went for a walk this morning though and recovered the three nuts that went walkabout and put everything back together. all sweet!
