I thought he had a G series? I asked someone at work who does a lot of work with race cars and modding diffs and he thinks that the housing would have to be really badly warped to break axles.
Dang dang did axles on his 1jz corona with a locked f series, but that was because the housing was warped

"Not all commodore drivers are wankers, but all wankers drive commodores"
Would like to know how warped it was too
The car had been crashed "a few" times. Nothing has broken since the housing was straightened. I have an RA60/1JZ with an F series diff and haven't broken anything either.
it had a major side impact... so to be honest it was most likely caused by that....

Stock CA18DET with disco potato in 86 would an F series be over kill???
Not really depending on usage. A t series in a daily with 200kw will last forever , if for drift then it'll last maybe 2 outings

I have killed one aleady plus a 5 puck clutch does not help lol
F series it is thanks Matt
Anyone know whether these gears will fit? Looks like they will, says its for rear diff for Hilux.
Cheers,
Phil
They wouldn't be for a rear diff. Hilux's always run G-series (8.0") diffs in the rear.
IFS Hiluxs run F-series (7.5") diffs in the front.
So more than likely that'll fit any other F-series.
