Fairly sure there is a YR22 model with rear disk brakes? (F series)
would love to know if there was cant find any info tho
toyodiy doesnt list and yr22's for aus lol but found european tr22 did have disc brakes
you would need to change the axles to suit tho so mayaswell just do the ma70 conversion
For memory it was the EFI version that came with disks?(late model?)
hmm i cant find any aus 22 series taragos on TOYODIY which is annoying

All YR22's are EFI. thats what makes them a YR22 - the 4YE engine (and the accompanying driveline upgades).
