Millington Diamond series II - It's a 2 ltr 250hp special build rally motor mainly used in Escorts, but seen 2.5 ltr reputably producing 350hp.

Kid Karola is on the money, the Millington engine is the gun motor for rwd rally cars at the moment over in Ireland and the rest of the UK. I believe there is also an Aussie open wheel hill climb car running the engine as well, but the memory is hazy....
They are loosely based on a Cosworth YB and are available in 2L, 2.3L, 2.5L and 2.7L. In the Esky's and ae86's they are usually teamed with a 6 speed sequential. They are a sexy sexy motor and only cost 27,000GBP, altho they will sell you a head that will bolt onto your Ford Pinto motor if you prefer as that's what teh YB is based on. DO WANT.

Looks quite unassuming, like any Irish rally "Cam"

Thats ME!! trying to get air. Hampton intro rallysprint, trying to get time in the car because silly little things kept failing like water pumps and head gaskets.
Pic taken just before a spark plug lead came off in recce for the night run then the TPS played up. got home and parked it 6 months.. was sick of silly little things breaking. looks reasonable in the photo buts its rough.
presume this is mike86 off BMSC?
