schweet you coming out to qr on friday night?
well in other news my throttle cable finally gave on the weekend.. it had completely frayed and was getting caught in the plastic sleeve leaving the throttle wide open, not fun at all, especially in the wet! so the hunting began to find out what was actually going to work. to get a brand new ae86 one was going to cost $125 plus postage so that was out of the question. i ended up getting a cable from a paseo with a e series motor same as the starlets. turned out to be 1 or 2cms too long, aka perfect for $5! the old cable was terrible, the accelerator pedal is so smooth now.

yeah most likely ill be there. still thinking about coilovers for the front... so much information it's a bit hard to decide on a setup!
car looks good it went to a good home, kev still regrets parting with it...
have you still got the old rear wing wanna sell it to me?
lookin good ay
~KEEP DRIFTING FUN~
yep, its being looked after! well i haven't got the ducktail hatch painted yet so it still has the old hatch and spoiler on. but i'll think about what im going to do with them both...
okie dokie kunds, just ordered RDA slotted rotors and A1RM pads for the front of the legend that is greg from GSL. so if they're here by the weekend i can chuck them on! just pending on braided lines... i guess i will get some to match the rear end. next will be some attention to the suspension, mainly springs and ride height. i've never been too happy with it the way it is, i would like the tyres to tuck under the gaurds. anywho ill take some photos of the front brake upgrade when it happens.

same day update, hoorah! well i have been hunting a dizzy heat shield for fkn ever with no luck. it has been discontinued by toyota and i guess its not a part people want to give up... then this:
ebay FTW!
just bought some front wheel bearing kits from repco, 30 dorrah each, money well spent. oh and brake fluid was on sale too, only 5 dorrah! now the car can steering and brake properly!
well new bearings are in, and what a fkn difference they made! 25+ years is far too long...
didn't get the new rotors on as the botls they hold ir on to the front hub are pretty much stuck on... will need a rattle gun to get the buggers lose. did fit the a1rm's though. these pads are unreal, they just have some much bite, car pulls up so well now with these all round and should be even better with the slotted rotors on the front.
just bought some T3 traction brackets for the rear, should be here in a week or so. then i can start thinking more seriously about new springs, ie rate and lowering height. will keep yall posted!
