how much do these usually go for?
What sort of power do they make?
Are they a well built engine?
After market parts readily available?
How would a t50 hold up?
What other box can be bolted behind with minimal/no mods?

Cost will vary a lot. Depends what you find in what condition. Becoming more rare now.
It's a 1.8litre motor with old turbo, so I expect about 150hp or 110kw as a start. The skys the limit with a new turbo, maybe as much as a modifyed CA18, depends on turbo. But it is older and less refined than the CA18.
Well built? It is a dinosaur twincam, not a 16v. Mechanicaly similar to a 2T-G (from 1971?). It's basically a 2T-G, with 3T crank to make it 1.8L, twin spark plugs as a novelty, dizzy runs off the head for some reason, old style EFI with fuel only computer, turbo manifold, and a Toyota CT20 turbo which was Toyotas first turbo effort I think.
Things like dizzy caps, plug leads, chain tensioners are getting very hard to find now.
The standard gearbox these came with was a W5# series alloy box, in TA63 Carina/Celica/Carona GT models etc.. You can use a T50 and they sometimes last a long time. The W5# gearbox from a 1G motor is what you want, and it fits. Same belhousing I'm told.
