Bolt IN! not ideal though.
As far as i am aware there is no off the shelf kit available anymore, i dont think the kaizen kit is still available, someone can correct me if im wrong.
Bolt IN! not ideal though.
The SR box has a considerably bigger flywheel size and matching bellhousing, while I have personally had a look at both installed in a car I didn't look as closely as I could have. I need pics as proof

I'm pretty sure CA trans don't bolt onto SR's and vice versa. If it did, what would you use for flywheel and clutch?
well I have heard of either box behind an SR20 so yeah interchangable. You would have to use the matching flywheel and clutch; ie: CA. I will ask my expert friend on this and make a post back.

I think he means to say that you can take the front housing off an SR W71C and put it on a W71C mission that used to be bolted to a CA to use a 'CA box' behind an SR. and you can do the same with VG30(non Z32)/SR/CA/RB20/KA/L motor gearboxes.
i think that a ca box can be used but u need to use sr bellhousing and as i found out tonight the box wont fit in the tunnel but the engine mounts i got im pretty sure will line up
and fanta pants i bought the car being told it will go in any ways all wrong now is i need to make the tunnel bigger to fit the bellhousing in
