I sell them and haven't had anyone complain,
but you do get what you pay for.

put it this way you could blow one and buy another for the price of a garrett.
    and they are rebuildable.
+vband for the win if you wanna go bigger.

my mate has one on his 32, he hasn't had a problem and he flogs the piss out of it, think it's blowing 19psi. I'd trust it on a 4a. Still better than a Chinese eBay tarbin, I've seen the rear housing warp on one of those suckers.

Fasty Eddy did or use to run one did he not?

Obviously I would wanna run something like a Garret, but I'll be trying out a KKR one soon, but only because it's brandnew, with a dumppipe for fuck all, lol.

im running a kkr280 that i bought off otomoto, goes well, makes decent power BUT on the 20v the internally gated version is too small, the wastegate cannot let enough exhaust out to regulate the boost pressure, so it just keeps creeping up, i have a very free flowing exhaust so its definatley not back pressure that is impeding it. also when i first got the turbo it was suppost to have the gate set at 9psi, however it was actually set a 17, needless to say not real safe pressure. i rang them and they sent me a new wastegate that should have fixed the problem, instead this one was set at 24. i just gave up with them, i ended up putting a ca18 acuator on instead

    i'd run one

simply because most people on this forum don't own their car long enough to worry whether or not their china turbo will bite the dust

+ probably less dramas than trying to find a good condition T28/T28BB
