If it's okay for his car to have rust, it's okay for my car to have rust!

In that vid (and the whole AE86 Club Series) Keiichi's shows progress of modifying and restoring his 10 year old Trueno, to keep up with then current machinery (Civic & Integra Type-R, Altezza, S13 etc). As well as many other tuned AE86's from aroun Japan
This particular vid the Trueno's rust and stressed chassis are attended to. They show thorough rust repair and reinforce the body. Not just the bog up rust holes "she'll be right" attitude, replacing entire panels and welding in sheet metal and reinforcing the chassis.
I think everyone with a Corolla needs to see the entire video series at least once.

This is the extent Ill be going to with my coupe. Full strip down and full chassis build.

On a jig and straightened, full seam and spot weld, strengthening plates, and full welded in cage, modified super-low seat mounts, full hidden wiring, fresh paint throughout etc. Basically a fresh shell.

Im not looking forward to it.
