How do L70 guards differ from L200 guards?
I didn't think they were that different.
you shouldn't need to cut the subframe, only slightly elongate the trailing arm holes. the other method of getting camber is just lower it more unfortunately, the swingarms hit the chassis before you can get much of a drop. marv knows aaaall about this. brrrrrrrrrm CLUNK!
your best bet is gonna be get some more camber happening and cut out the rear guards and weld some new metal on.
i love that all these problems with the rear guards are non existent on the L70 miras i just dump the rear end and roll the guards out a bit and i'm laughing
they're a lot deeper (height wise that is) from the lip of the guard to the top of the wheel well. a lot more space for tyres, so they're less likely to scrub on bumps or when turning the trailing arms also have a lot more clearance to the chassis, so once again, no mashing the metal bits when run very low.
update?
Well, at the moment it is in my garage, collecting dust.
I just bought a skyline, so this will be on hold until i get defected/ write off said skyline.
I also made some steel plates to go under the rear wheels macca's tray style. Works wonders and sparks are cool.
