My RA65 Coupe did that also on the touge and made my rack move, then my steering shaft was shorting out on stuff..

i actually had a similar problem with my old corona... ida day at oran park, something moved and i was getting like 70% lock on one side and binding on the other. rack brace and/or urothane rack mounts be a good idea to help this?
id proably make a pair of new mounts to go on the inside of the standard mounts, just like a u bolt type scenario
