4age diagnostic code 12

Hey guys,

My engine warning light's come on and it returns error code 12 after running the diagnostics.

This error is apparently has to do with the RPM signal

* No G or NE signal present for 2 seconds during cranking
* Open G circuit


* Open, short in G or NE circuit.
* Distributor
* ECU

The warning light came on intermittently for a few days but is now permanently on which leads me to believe that the ground wire on the distributor was loose and has now disconnected completely. Where exactly is this ground wire and what should I do to fix it?

Btw, engine is a redtop, bigport with an afm in an aw11
