or... you make a reverse design where you put the pivots on the diff on either end and then have two plates coming down off the sub frame with a row of holes which where you can move the position of the center pivot. Have a look at that famous ae86 drifter in australia has, josh?

I myself will make my own center pivot but I will go for the more traditional single pivot on the diff style. I worked out how I can use the original pan-hard pivot on one end and a simple bracket on the body for the other. To find out more look up what the supertaxi holdens and fords do. So might you be able to show a pic of the ford design? also whats the measurement from the center of middle pivot to one of the outer ones in the middle linkage?

Ah k I get what you're saying, I think I have seen a similar set up on a friends car.

WIth the measure ments I haven't even picked the falcon up yet, its still sitting in a paddock lol. gotta get bro in laws hi-ab to go get the fucker tomorrow. I'll get the measurements and post em up for you during the week.

Bit of news though, the front end is coming out of the cressy while the new engine goes in that, so this thing will be rolling again soo woooo, oh i still need to the diff haha.

the engine bay, cabin and front 1/3 of the car will be this colour, the 1600 that getting repaired as we speak will also get painted this colour. (the 1600 will be for sale early next year, built L20, twin SU's and dumped on her bum, most likely will be put up for $6,000)

    Ford Menace purple

With the remainder of the car in satin black with a subaru wrc blue stripe. Should look good.
