I haven't opened up a rack before, what parts are replaced in a rebuild? And if it randomly slipped through some teeth would that be because something is loose or because the teeth are ruined?
i have no idea, only rebuilding it cause i'm putting the quaife goodies in. hello 2.5 lock to lock. only replacing pinion shaft and rack bar, might get some new boots and my dad coincidentally has toyota rack grease haha so yeah jsut makin it all fresh
hmm i was thinking about that but then i found out u loose some lock and gain a heavy steering wheel... loosing lock is not an option
