got a drive shaft from the wreckers (ae101) which doesnt have a locking pin hole in it.
it has a slot for the use of a stake nut.
called repco and they say they dont sell those stuff.
where can i get one of these stuff?
the old nut hasnt got a thin metal ring outside for it to be staked.

this thing doesnt come stock with toyota's. As far as i am aware they come stock with Honda cars
did a bit of google search and found that the driveshaft i bought must have been an aftermarket one.
if you look at those new driveshafts on ebay, they use staked nuts rather than safety pins.
went back to the wreckers and they said they had never seen a toyota CV without a pin hole.
we managed to get one for free off a mechanic who managed to find a used one lying around in his workshop.
why dont you just ring up a cv joint (parden the pun) like outer control and ask them for one. they have tonnes of them
