OK well plans have changed, te71 is being sold, and im using my 4age ae71 as the track car now as it recently got defected and rego ran out. bought another regoed ae71 anyway so works out well.
updating the first post with the shell im using now.............
Shit man whered the 71 get defected if you don't mind me asking? Around your area or somewhere else?
out warby way man. rego ran out out a few weeks later anyway, so not so bad.
update!
w58 is now installed, tailshaft next week, then sort out rear disks, lines and hydro. get the thing driving, get all the suspension and chassis right, then drop the turbo engine in last. a few months hopefully

Few engine assembly pics from long ago
I was sick of bashing the front of the wheel arch to clear wheels when low and lots of castor in corollas, so i moved the front of the tub forward for more clearance
Tubs and seam welding done
The car has sat outside since this work was done and got a nice coat of surface rust
