Don't go finance man. My mate did and he ended up paying a fortune and he paid it out before the term ended too. I got a bank loan through commonwealth for my WR250F which was 12500 with on roads over 5 years at $60 a week. I got a better job and paid off $200 a week and within two years paid it off and it only cost me around 13500 even if I went the whole term it would have been $15600.
My figures aren't exact but it is certainly a lot cheaper. My ute I have now I bought it on finance in Sept 07 for $28,000 and been paying $764 a month so so far paid $25,212 and my loan ends Sept 2012. When I spoke to them a week ago they said $22,000 is still owing. So all up with the time till it finishes I will have paid $45,840.
Wow I wish I didn't just work that out lol. Plus I can't afford more than $200 a week. Debt sucks probably will sell it when the rolla is done.
Worst thing is I had to rebuild my ute spending $12k on it on top of all that.

ohh hell mate i bet ur spewin about ur ute but thanks for the advice i might just wait till start of next when the 2011s are out and then get a 2010 for fair bit cheaper ( but then ill want a 2011 bike lol)
Yeah that's what I did I bought my 05 model when the 06's came out and they had 3 left so got like $2000 off. For $12500 I got WR250F, Full road registered, White Bro's E2 pipe and full gear.
dont get finance what ever you do, they shaft you so bad.
you will end up paying over 18k for the bike.
if you miss 3 payments they take the bike from you and dont give you anything in return and still try to get what you owe from you and they will.
only possible benifit is cheap insurance for the first year but their insurance stinks.
either save up or get a personal loan from the bank.
but personally I saved up and bought my bike, best thing I ever did. Ive had a bike on finance in the past, I paid about 80% deposit and it still fucking stank.
