    Default planning my japan trip.

    hey dudes and duds

im heading to japland in beginning of December. i'll be going with few mates and some girls but ill make the best of it. the plane ticket has been bought, spending money needs to be saved, accommodation needs to be booked and one awesome trip needs to be accomplished!!!

So, if any one can point me in the right directions of some places to go people to see and and clubs to rock it will be appreciated. if anyone lives there and is free for a day or two and could take us around, you are more then welcome.

Till then ill be on google doing my homework on the motherland

    cheers

    k's house is AWESOME.

i went to japan from 1-14th of july this year.

stayed in 2 k's house i think, most of the people that work there speak good english.

    where abouts are you heading?

make sure you take full advantage of your rail pass, as as you know it costs a fortune...

Purchase the JR pass online , and exchange at the NEX Terminal @ Narita Airport.

If in Tokyo the "Sakura" Hostel chain is good , they have 4 in Tokyo for various group sizes and stay periods. Pretty cheap and very clean/comfortable. But then most of the country is like that anyway.

Props to the Sakura Hostel hey, Have stayed there on three seperate occasions and although it isn't as cheap as other hostels around the world it's super clean and the staff and awesome.

What city are you starting in? How Long are you going for?

I could write pages of stuff you have to do but it really depends where you are and for how long....

Use K's house, don't bother with anything else.

    7eleven is good for money/food/alcohol/porn.

Avoid Roppongi (in Tokyo) unless you want to pick up foreigners (best case scenario), pick up STD's (average scenario) or get molested by nigerians (worst case scenario).

Good clubs in Shibuya and 'Ageha' is worth checking out (can't remember where it is located).

Don't be afraid to go off on your own as transport is super easy and people are helpful.

What else do you need to know?

Hahahahaha, the most probable scenario by far

Hit Shibuya for sure though, Harajuku is always fun if you haven't been before, and it may be a little bit of a trek, but head to Fuji-Q, by far the best theme park I've ever been to in my life
