Do you think australian prison differs much?
depends if its a high security prison, i dont know about "race" would be involved in ours. I reckon knowing australia our criminals are probably treated like royalty. Isnt that how they treat asylum seekers over here. I doubt there would be as many murders either.

Ive been to prison , ill read it now.
its not as bad as the U.S prison he describes. It shares the same theme's but not as filthy and overcrowded.
I work in a juvi prison...obviously nothing like this but fucked up shit goes on.

^^^^ Yeah mate sorry to hear about your father. It really does change people for the worst. People adapt to their surroundings. Its like you are what you eat! When your in prison for 7 years surrounded by deadbeats and treated like your a number on an unwanted page it really changes your perception. Thank god i only spent 4 months inside and it was enough to scare the shit out of me. So im a changed man now.
Yeah couldn't agree more , lately I've been addicted to watching the crime Chanel and prison documentaries , the people in there have a completely unrealistic mind set but I guess all they have is imagination and plety of time to use it...
It's funny how alot of the short stayers spend time with the legit criminals and think that they can learn from their mistakes and get away with offences other people committed but got caught doing.
Even watching the stuff on womens prisons is scary , there are heaps of cases where a pretty girl will get her face cut up teeth kicked / punched out ect all over jealousy ..
All in all it's definitely not a place to be .
I wouldn't last a day in jail .
