Help Will Digital Dash work with ST20V

Hey guys girlfriends motor finally died looking a a 20v, just wondering has anybody got a digital dash to work with the 20v motor? or know of anybody? dont really know how they work do they run throughthe original computer? or what? Any help would be appriecated.

I'm going to go crazy here and guess if he had a digital cluster, and he's asking this question it's an AE86 4AGE. Particularly as he referred to it as the 20v motor, rather than the 4AGE 20v motor.

yeah its a ae86 4age 16v motor and i want to put a 20v motor in it..

i dont see why it would work any different? what ecu are you planning to run? Mine works fine, same as any dash.

As long as all the inputs are the same.

Fuel sender isn't going to change with 20v conversion
Temp sender will change, you may have to fiddle around with that - i.e. plumb the old gauge sender into the new cooling system
Speed sender isn't going to change with 20v conversion
Tacho input will change so you'll have to find a suitable place to pick up an ignition trigger to get the tacho working.

That's pretty much it, really.

It will all work the same if you retain the factory dizzy and coil setup on a stock ecu. Otherwise you will have to modify the tach input to get it working.
