Corona Appreciation Thread
After being on this site over the last few years ive noticed recently the build up of Corona owners (mostly of the xt14x variety) congregating on here, and most likely the largest web site in Aus for corona's so just like the Nissan appreciation thread post your Rona in here.

my old rona, nothing much to talk about really as it was a Rt142 Live axle CSi, Had extractors, some very slight head work (motor later ended up in marvis's Ra65) & 14x6 jellybean's
the thing was S*** tho, no PS, no tilt adjust on the steering wheel, brakes sucked, almost the complete opposite of my Mz11 at the time so i parted with it as it wasnt what i wanted at all... Wanted Avante.
been hunting for an Avante since and recently came across this one off ebay. on gass, the heads off and the guy never finished fixing it but apart from that the bodys stright and the interior is pretty nice...

Sounds good! Avantes are the bee's knees. I'm yet to feel the difference between 22re and 2sc, though.
Yesh, the spoiler is a cut down granny shade. Real easy and looks good, imo.

Must be something wrong with your 22RE then, mine keeps up with 4age bigports!
Didnt realise Avante's had adj steering coloumn, my whel sits too high for my liking.

im going to have to track one down and cut it up... did you paint yours again or was it cut from a good condition one?
ill rephrase what i said but looking at that rona in the first post, they (im pretty sure) are the same as the 9.5's that you got off me on the front with 195/50's looks good and at leased its pratical that i can share the same tyres and rims between both the rona and supra.
Two things i asked when i was talking to the guy that i got my avante off 1) is it IRS 2) does it have tilt adjust
