Hey all,
Relatively new to the forums, some of you might know me from Toymods. Well I thought this might be a good way to introduce myself

This is my baby, its still a work in progress but it has come a long way since Ive had it, and theres plenty more in store for it as time and money becomes available.


We drove down to ToyotaFest last weekend, car drove there and back no probs!













So heres some specs:

1972 TA22 Celica (flat tail-light model)

Engine & Driveline:
4AGE 20v Silvertop
Razorback ECU
2NZFE Coil-on-plugs
JAR Radiator
W58 Gearbox (niteparts bellhousing)
NPC HD clutch with ligtened fingers (awesome to use)

Suspension:
XT130 Corona struts and hubs, T3 coilover kit with Eibach 325lb springs, Kings helper springs, T3 camber adjustable strut tops, SW20 MR2 strut inserts for short stroke, 21mm Kmac rear swaybar

Brakes & Wheels:
Pugeot 604 vented, slotted rotors, LN106 hilux callipers, RA60 brake lines, Camry (Avalon) 1" Master Cylinder
17" Performance Lotus wheels

Exterior:
Morpheous Metallic paint (VE commodore Purple)
Front GT grill, GT bonnet vents, rear GT badge, full red ST taillights, clear GT Indicator lenses

Interior:
Autotechnica steering wheel, , custom full length centre console, retrimmed interior in grey, retrimmed dash

Upcoming mods:
About to embark on turbo conversion - Garrett GT28 ball bearing turbo, Microtech ECU. Gear ready to go, hopefully will be finished around Christmas time.
LSD, disc brake rear
New wheels
More suspension upgrades and rack and pinion

And, in case the name or car colour didnt give it away, yes im a girl And yes, I get my hands dirty and do all these mods myself

I quite like the color, and engine choice.
Needs 14's and low though!

Yeah the 17s are only there until I get some other wheels, I was going to go 15s, as some 14s out there might not clear the hilux calipers. I want something along the lines of Konig rewinds in charcoal but they only do a 7" wide rim and I want a little bit wider on the back so I"ll have to wait and see what I can afford when the time comes. A set of longchamps will probably find their way on there for a while though, not my final wheel choice but my boyfriend has them on his RA28 and since he's going volvo diff he'll be converting over to 5 stud and getting himself new wheels.... YOINK!

The front is pretty low with the coilovers, well as low as it will go with the 17s on there. Ive managed to elminate most the tyre scrubbing, only a little in there at full lock. The back definately needs dropping down, at some point when I revisit suspension i'll be looking to put in coilover collars and springs to make it adjustable.
