Yeah in the small port loom it is red/black and red/blue for the reverse lights... The red/blue has constant ignition power and it switches to red/black when in reverse.
im not entirely sure what loom it is...it came with the motor, i have a feeling that its a fwd loom though

cool, cheers!
i will no doubt have more questions later as i start to piece it all back together!
so now i have another question...
speaking about the connector on the firewall...that joins to the standard loom, 6 pin black plug
the engine side loom is only a 4 pin plug...with the two center wires not running through the plug...
the wires are black with red trac, and black with orange trace...any idea what these two are?
can provide a pic of location for reference if required
cheers
Post up a pic, but most likely it is something that has been added by the person who wired it previously to get power from one side of the bay to the other or the tacho signal etc.
For the ke70 the following goes through
Reverse Lights - 2 Pins
Oil Pressure Warning - 1 Pin
Temp Gauge - 1 Pin
ok...heres a pic of the connector that im talking about
and heres one of the wires in question
it looks like they have been pulled out of the plug and were running through two inline fuses going somewhere
there are 3 wires there, it the 2 that are joined together that im not sure about...black with red trace, black with orange trace
the third wire black with orange rings im unsure about also
Smallport loom right???
Black / orange is the power input for your injectors / coil...
Black / red will most likely feed power to the FOC relay inside the cabin
Factory setup for the ae92 smallport has 2x black / red trace wires.. The thicker of the 2 has constant power and the thinner plugs into the output of the efi relay and powers up your B+ to the ecu and also the fuel pump relay.
It's ran across the bay because in the ke you grab coil power from the drivers side. The ae71 i've got has the coil power on the passenger side, but this could have been changed by the person i got it from.
The black wire at a guess i'd say is tacho, basing that on the coil location on the ke70, but trace it out with a multimeter first.
its a bigport loom
ill have a sus and see what they went to on the old car i removed it all from
Hey guys, back again, pretty sure my injectors arent clicking, is EFI main relay 2 required to run them?
