It's a rectangular grey box with diag on it. Big port looms don't have them.
hey can someone upload a picture of the check connecter, wiring up my smallport and apparently the fuel pump power line also connects to the check connecter butr I have no idea what it looks like

sorry matt im better with pictuers ,
Does anybody have the pinout locations for the 14pin plug on an AE82 bigport ECU?
Should be the same as AE86. Ive wired AE82 looms before and the the pinouts that matter are the same as AE86
hey guys...
slowly wrapping my head around this wiring malarkey...
for the coil feed i can use the Tridon 30amp 4 pin?
and for the COR i can use 2 Tridon 30amp 4pins?
cheers!
Yes to both.
Coil feed relay will be triggered via a 12v ignition source.
COR will be two relays, one triggered via a 12v ignition source, one via 12v starter signal (tapping into the STA pin on the ecu is sufficient providing it is actually connected to the original starter motor in the first place!) with both outputs going to fuel pump.

hey guys...can anyone tell me if the pinouts i have (crappily) drawn on to this are right?
Assuming the following numbers
85 = Power to coil (thing that trips relay open)
86 = Earth to coil
30 = High amp input
87 = Relay output
You have it right.
When starting power is present relay on the left will power up the fuel pump.
When ecu / afm earths relay on the right, it will power up the fuel pump
