Hey Dusty
it will be fine.
the PC680 can be used for daily duties since once the car is on, the alternator is the main soruce of power however PLEASE NOTE : it only has a limted reserve time for 20 mins or so .. that means no listening to your music at maccas or having your head lights on while waiting for a touge run while the car is not on or especially a drive through movie (if anyone still goes to them, this is not the battery for you you need at least the PC1200 )
the PC680 is design to be a light weight race battery . it has more then enough crank power to turn over most street/track cars with an alternator.
if you are running crazy stupid compression or have a massive 7ltr v8 drag motor or something like that with a big ass blower or even a hectik DOOF DOOF sound system , i would go a the next size up or so.

excellent thats all I need to know, once the car is back on the road the battery will be isolated every time the car is turned off to prevent any excess current draw.
So how much would postage be to above postcode, and when does the moolah need to be deposited into whoevers bank account?
Cal ,
4age right ?

this is what i got back for the rep:
the PC680 should be able to start the engine with no problems. The reserve time is an issue though if the person has a stereo stystem etc. that they plan to run with the car off. As long as the car has an alternator the PC680 should do the job of starting, if they want a battery to run other components with the car turned off, they should look to a bigger battery. If the car does not have an alternator then this could be an issue as well, dependent upon the time required between charges.
