like jay said simons has s13 cross member ect and handles fine apparently, i guess i will find out first hand soon...
+1^^ .. i used stock crossmember but modified it
how does the crossmember make any difference at all??? wouldnt it be the control arms cos they'r longer, the crossmember sits in the same position, basically bolts up to the original holes
simon was saying his ke handles awesome
castor. is different
hey mate, car is looking the goods.
where did you get the cage from? very keen to get one for myself.
good luck with the build!
my ke build:
i just bought it from a guy on here.
jay is making them tho, not sure if they'r done yet
Is the location of the LCA's much lower then standard?
I've used S13 LCA's with S13 coilies for a while in my AE86 (with standard AE86 crossmember), and coudn't get much castor out of it, and the roll centre was not great. I've since redrilled the crossmember with the LCA mounting holes a lot higher to correct the LCA angle and lower the roll centre. Am yet to test it out, but statically it should be an improvement.
