    Default de-turboing an engine.

yes I know it's super gay and it will be lower compression but what is actually involved in taking a turbo off? just manifold and IC? epic newb question. but would be handy. it's an S14 SR20 if that matters

    remove manifold
    plug oil drain and feed
    plug water drain and feed
block the little dick pipe under the manifold (edit not 100% on this one)
fabricate inlet pipe to accept afm and throttle body.

thats pretty much it, since the new laws, I have deturboed 6 wrx's, and they make on average 60-80kw (remember these are 1200-1300kg cars), don't expect much more, and fuck me they are sloooooooow.

+ remap, due to the fact it will run rich.

    Some exhaust changes.

Like the others have said, grab a DE and jam that in.

sell the motor and get a SR20DE, you'll end up a few $$ up, and not end up with a totally shit combination
